Fabian Pregel is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Vienna, and a member of the Knowledge in Crisis cluster’s "Knowledge" and "Language" research unit. His work lies at the intersection of logic, epistemology, philosophy of language, and the philosophy of mathematics.
Before joining the University of Vienna in October 2025, Fabian was a Career Development Fellow at Christ Church, University of Oxford and holds a DPhil (PhD) from the University of Oxford. His paper on Neo-Logicism and Gödelian Incompleteness was awarded the MIND Graduate Essay Prize.
Before academia, he worked as a startup investor at Goldman Sachs.
